Land Rover Repair: 1998 Range Rover SE EAS fault today, minor leaks, range rover

Today my EAS fault light came on.  System stayed elevated, but would not operate and all lights blinked for a time then stayed lit up.  I will take to the dealer, but any recommendations as to what might implicate the problem.  I'm always worried about the dealer and what they will or will not diagnose correctly.  Also, any reputable mechanics in San Diego that would be better to deal with?  Thanks!

For that age RR, it's most likely leaky springs and a tired compressor.  Your block will probably have some minor leaks as well.  The dealer will want to replace the whole thing for around $5000, you can get all the parts for about $600.
