Land Rover Repair: 2002 discovery se remote control, plip, autologic

Hi.can you tell me how to programm  remote control on my 2002 Discovery se with two buttons remote .it stopped working after a two monts of parking w/o driving the car.I kept it in a garage.I changed the battery but it still not working.thanks.serg

The pushbutton part separates from the key.  The button part is called the PLIP.  You can't program the PLIP without two things:  The T4 or Autologic test tools, and the barcode tag with the PLIP ID number.

You'll need a dealer or specialist to sort this out, and you may need a new PLIP.  They're about $100.
