i have a 1996 landrover se the problem is that the read out code tells me that its the ignition control system .what is it and where do i find it??

1996 Land Rovers don't have "ignition control systems."  I suspect the person who told you that was either misunderstanding the diagnostic codes, or he didn't explain it well.
