Land Rover Repair: transmission, accidently, freeway

driving on freeway and accidently shifted to neutral and the motor shuts off, so i COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD.NOW IT ONLY GOES INTO REVERSE.

Shifting a car into neutral while driving does not cause anything else to heppen.  I suspect there is more to the story.  Did you, for example, shift into reverse?  It is possible to destroy the transmission with a mistake like that, but shifting to neutral should now cause anything to happen
