1997 disco on trips of 25 miles or more the car misfires often  around town its      
never a problem dealer could not find or fix problem 50 thou.easy miles reg
service love this car but any ideas thanks

If the car is really missing, and you drive it while missing for a few minutes, a fault code will be set.  Even before, if the dealer drove the truck with the t4 system displaying live data they should be able to figure out what's wrong.

If the dealer failed to find the problem last time I suggest you take the technician for a ride and show him.
