Land Rover Repair: Engine Failure Light, range rover hse, engine failure

I have a 2001 Range Rover HSE and it has been sitting for awhile and the battery is dead. In attempt to start the truck a jump start the truck is giving a Engine failure light have you ever heard this or know what is causing it?

When the battery goes dead and you jump a vehicle it's common for spurious fault codes to be set in the various computers.  I suggest you have a LR specialist clear them so that they don't send a future service person on a false trail.

If, after clearing the codes, a light returns that means you have an active problem
