Land Rover Repair: braking, abs system, abs computer

intermittently, when i depress the brake it seemingly crunches and experiences quite a delay in stopping. it almost sounds like its powering up or pushing air from the line... any ideas?

You are describint activation of the ABS system.  If this happens on slippery ground it's normal.  If it happens on pavement I suggest seeking a dealer or specialist with the T4 or Autologic system and having them check it out.

The ABS computer won't talk to generic testers so you'll need a LR specialist.
