Land Rover Repair: Faulty brake lights on 01 Discovery II, lamp switch, fuse

My brake lights suddenly aren't working on my 2001 Discovery II. Could that be a fuse or should I try something else?

Answer
You should check the fuse and if it's good check the brake lamp switch, located above the brake pedal.

If the fuse is bad or the switch is bad the vehicle may not shift out of park.

Don't overlook the possibility that all the brake lamps have burnt out.
