Land Rover Repair: Transmission Filter, contamination problem, rovers north

I would like to know how if I don't have the owners manual can I personally figure out which automatic trans filter i need to purchase with or without tube

Based upon the training I have received from Bosch and ZF, makers of Land Rovers transmissions and controllers, I suggest you don't replace the filter at all unless there is a known contamination problem.

I suggest fluid change only.
