Land Rover Repair: 1973 series 111 military LR 109, fuel jugs, dual tanks

I recently purchased this auto.  Due to a leakly fuel tank,  the previous owner removed one of the fuel tanks( the car has two tanks) and has taken apart the fuel switch.  I have purchased several books on series 111, but none cover duel fuel tanks or the switch assy.  Where can I go to find this info?  Any tips, suggestions??  Thanks Paul

I'm not anexpert on military vehicles, but I suspect the dual tank setup is a custom modification that's not covered in the books.  I've never seen a factory setup like that myself and I doubt there is one.

If you want dual tanks there are many alternatives available, look in the UK  Land Rover mags for ideas.

Most people just carry fuel jugs, though.
