QuestionHi, I have a Disco II 2000, w/ 93000miles.
1. Wondering what name brand of oil is best (Castrol, Mobil 1, etc..) as well as what type of oil? (5w30, semi-syntec, etc...?)
2. Change when, every 5K??
3. Is there any special additive I should add at each oil change to prolong my engine and components??
4. Is there a huge concern using 89 octane gas compared to 91 octane gas?? I can get 93 octane but then it's the ethanol blend type?

We suggest Mobil 1 5-40 Truck and SUV oil
2. Change when, every 5K?
5,000 to 7,500 is good
3. Is there any special additive I should add at each oil change to prolong my engine and components?
Just the Mobil 1 oil

Your engine was designed to run on premium and it will perform best with the right fuel
