What is the average cost for changing transmission fluid?

I don't quote prices because rates vary so much around the world, and capacities vary by model.  Expect about an hour's time to drain and refill.

Some Rovers, like Freelander, use special Land Rover fluid.  Other models use generic ATF or GL5 gear lube.  We suggest Mobil 1 synthetic lubricants for most applications.

Cost of fluids varys quite a bit from place to place.  Your owner's manual gives the capacities.
