Land Rover Repair: Warning lights, wheel sensors, wheel hub

Hi John.I have 1998 1.8 Freelander.My problem I'm having is that on the odd occasion I notice the HDC,Traction Control & ABS warning lights come on.What can be the cause of this & how can I be able to rectify this?

Hi Robyn,

this is a common problem with LR's ... many owners have complained about these three lights intruding into their lives.  Usual suspects:  wheel sensors, brakes, wheel hub, ABS modulator, ABS ecu.

You can have this investigated by the dealer and it may be a simple fix... you never know.
