Land Rover Repair: 2000 range rover air suspension, range rover air suspension, couple hours
QuestionHello, The front and rear passenger side airbags fully deflate in a couple hours. I realize they will need to be replaced. The Atlantic-British website sells the bags for about $130 ea. How much would you estimate the labor to be? Should all four be replaced since they are original? Are there other parts involved in this repair?
Also, I have a bad leak that appears to be coming from the radiator but I think it's P/S or ATF fluid. Are there fittings or hosed in that location that are prone to leak?
Thank you for your help, Jim
AnswerAllow 1-1.5 hours to replace the air springs yourself. Leave a door open when you do the job to keep the air suspension from trying to operate.
YOu may end up towing it to a shop with proper Land Rover test equipment if you can't inflate it. Look on www.rangerovers.net for more info on this job
