Land Rover Repair: over heating and O2 sensor, o2 sensors, o2 sensor
QuestionJohn,
I have 99 Disco II that was diognosed by my local land rover garage with both rear o2 sensors being bad. Just today it over heated. Would the o2 sensor being out make it over heat? Or would there be a problem with my thermostat or radiator. I have noticed any leaks but I also smell antifreeze. After putting in antifreeze today it still over heated.
AnswerI thought I just answered this . . .
O2 sensors have nothing to do with overheating.
I just wrote an article about Land Rover overheating. It's in the current issue of the Rover News. I think you can get it online at www.roversnorth.com
Perhaps that article will be helpful for your situation.
