Land Rover Repair: How do i know when i have bleeded the fuel system on my Discovery, hollington, hi john

Hi John,
From recieving the method on how to bleed the fuel on my discovery, how do i know when the system has been bleeded.
Also do i need to operate the fuel pump manually whilst bleeding the system or not. And finaly how long will this take to do.

Hi Simon,

its best done manually.  You should know that the system is completely bled when no more bubbles appear and only fuel flows from the nipple.  It should not take too long, unless there is a underlying problem somewhere, about 10 minutes I would think.
