Land Rover Repair: Discovery 2000 SES errors-P0734/P0773/P0774, obdii codes, earse

I have a discovery 2000 - 99,600 KM. I have had two SES code - P0773/P0774 which i have since earse and now have P0734; all points to a solenoid in the transmission -

how bad is this ? is it a rebuild job to replace a solenoid ?

* could the be related to an engine knocking ?(i figure that was gasoline related)

Hi Mirza,

this is a gearbox problem and unrelated to fuel or knocking.  Replacing solenoid, which these OBDII codes seem to indicate, is much less than replacing the tranny.

Knocking is often fuel related:  just buy 91 Octane or better.
