Lexus Repair: Fuel Filler Door for 2000 RX 300, fuel filler, highlander

I filled up with gas earlier today and noticed that a metal piece fell onto the ground.  I wasn't really sure where it came from (at the time)... but it was really small.  After I got done filling up, I noticed that it sounded funny closing.  I tried to open the fuel door back up, and no luck.  How can I get that thing open to place the metal piece back in there?  Thanks!

Hunnie. You'd have to show me what it looked like & show me the door.

As far as getting it back open, if it won't open with the door control, you'll have to go to a dealer & have someone break it open 99% of the team.
Try a Toyota tho, they charge cheaper labor rates. The RX 300 is just a completely trimmed up Highlander. Always go to Toyota once you're out of warranty... It's too much cheaper most of the time.
