Thanks for the reply, I must admit being a female and all I had put the filter on backwards and it was my problem getting started, but now the problem is the same as wwhen I started all this. So after new filter and pump I am still loosing pic up at acceleration, like when u hit it hard it kinda spits and sputters and rpms lower like its loosing power..does that makes sense? Where should my next step be...I am so aggravated and most men just say I have no idea what i.m doing...take it to a shop..I can and WILL do this with your help! Thanks Joshua

your problem doesn't sound tranny related. it sounds engine related i suggest you get the repair manual and test some of the basic sensors that control fuel for the motor. like the TPS, your spark plugs and wires.
