Mazda Repair: oil seal on Mazda 323/fuel inject/non turbo, mazda 323, mechanical repair

Question
How to repair? Seal is on passenger side of engine. Rod driven into engine: how to remove it? Seal is behind that somewhere.

My message to non mechanic, no fear, and go to parts store, get book, read book. If unable to understand and or uncomfortable with lingo or complexity of operation, bring to mechanic. Not everyone is able to grasp mechanical repair.
