Mazda Repair: 1997 Mazda, mazda 626, luck chris

I was driving the car it made a whining noise and sputtered and conked out, was able to barely restart to pull on to side of road.  It has a new fuel pump I do I know if it is the fuel filter ir just the fuel screen? It is a 1997 Mazda 626.

Hi Jamie thanks for asking..
I would take this vehicle to a local mechanic and ask him to cheack out the distibutor, if it has one---- the v-6 versions were especialy bad for this, And the symptoms that you told me sounds like it may be an ignition problem
