QUESTION: The top is inoperable. Currently it is down and will not move.

ANSWER: go to www.benzworld.org and type in your year and model # there are many different reasons why the top is unoperable usually sensors etc you can even make a diagnostic tester there. it shws you just type in search hood not working after you fill out your profile

QUESTION: I do not see an entry area for year and model #. Are you suggesting that I get on a forum and ask the same question. I did view the spot and it seems that actuator's may be the problem. Is there any way to manually raise the top?

as far as I know there is none, the year and make in model is in your profile it should be in sl covertible classes which is a r129 model
