Mercedes Benz repair: window repair, newe, thanks in advance

I have a 1977 mercedes 450sl, passenger side window stopped working and purchased new switch, still won't work, is it the motor or is there a relay that I,m missing, and if it is the motor is it a big deal to replace it, not a lot of room in there.   Thanks in advance

No relay otherwise your other door window wouldnt work, your window is either off track or your motor is shot . you need to take off the screws around the door and the handle then the panel sould come off there is a small plastic handle piece that you have to pop out then you will be able to see the motor and window . I would suggest taking off both sides to see how the guides go back together.Unhook the motor from window then unhook motor from frame. then put in newe one
