Mercedes Benz repair: cuts off while driving, worldpac com, fuel pump relay

1990 Mercedes 190E 2.3 (107K Mi).  When temperature is hot outside, car will cut off after driving a while, starts right back up, goes for a block or so, cuts off again...and so on.  If I don't give it gas, then it's ok. Fuel pumps or electrical?
