Questionmy 400e was running hot when sitting still in the summer, just thought it was normal, now it is not get hot the gauge is down below the 80 near the 60 or 70. When i check the level all is fine no leaks, but i can take the cap off and there is no pressure at any temp.
AnswerAnswer:
If you are not adding coolant, there is no leak.
A cooling system pressure test will locate most common leaks.
From your description I would replace the thermostat and Expansion Tank Cap, before any further testing/diagnosis.
