Mercedes Benz repair: Sunroof Inoperable, clutch adjustment, 300sd

Question
Just purchased 1989 300E 3.0.  Sunroof does not function at all.  All fuses replaced.  Thought it may be the s/r switch so replaced and still not working.  What should I try to locate the problem?
