Mercedes Benz repair: Glow Light...., glowplugs, glow plug

Question
I drive a 1977 Mercedes Benz. Last night I went out to start my car and the glow light wouldn't come on. The windows would roll down and the head lights would come on so I'm pretty sure it's not the battery....what do you think is wrong?
