QuestionI was told my prolem was the crank sensor when my 1988 mercedes 300e wold not fully crank. I am getting no spark to my plugs and the coil only read .5-.6.
AnswerDid you replace the crank position sensor (located @ the Flywheel)?
I would replace the ignition coil, due to age failures.
A defective Overload Protection Relay may be also involved.
A bad KE control unit is possible, though not likely.
