my key will not turn in the ignition.  it feels like it is binding.  should i use maybe a lubricant or maybe a new key? it won't even turn to unlock the steering column.

Worn Ignition Lock Cylinder and/or Ignition Lock Housing.
Consider replacing/repairing all, if you plan to keep this vehicle.
