QuestionClearly you are "the man" when it comes to MBZ! I have a '87 190E...A/C pump was frozen - had it replaced with factory unit & recharged with R-12...lines flushed, new receiver/dryer. Will engage often on start-up, blow cold to about 50 degrees...then as compressor cycles less and less frequently, blows less and less cold untill compressor stops engaging altogether. System leak-free -- line to condensor very hot; line to car interior very cold, condensation.....but receiver dryer remains neutral in temp....shouldn't it also be cold? Please help! read many of your responses...what/where is sampler blower/motor? I am fairly savy mechanicly, but mbz A/C is proving to be a bit more complex than I can handle. Thanks for your consideration of my question.

AnswerBehind the glovebox, it draws cabin air across a thermistor, which reports to CCU control, CCU then takes action if needed.
