QuestionI have a dark grey 1991 Mercedes-Benz 190E (W201) 1.8 Petrol that has covered 155,000 miles. I recently had the car checked at my local MB dealer because I am very cold when driving becasue the interior heater when turned to hot is always cold. The interior only starts to get mildly warm if stationary in traffic and the engine temp rises abaove 80 degrees on the temp guage. The dealer said they found a vacuum leak behind the dashboard and say it will cost a lot of money to replace. What is a vacuum leak and what elso might cause this problem? Why would vacuum leak affect cabin temp?
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
AnswerWhat you describe could be:

#2. Sampler Blower Motor
