I am looking into purchasing a luxury car most likely a Mercedes benz class c or a Ford Crown victoria. How might repair and maintenance costs compare between the two. Thanks.

You can not compare the two.

Get a dealer PPI = Pre Purchase Inspection on each, then you have some data for a decision.
I would need Make, Model, Year, + miles, option package and general interior/exterior condition on each vehicle for a guess.
