Mercedes Benz repair: 1973 MB 450 SL, spark plug wires, crank shaft

i took off the spark plug wires and i need to know where the number i wire goes on the distributer. also the firing order just in case i have it wrong.

The ignition firing order is 15486372, just like early Ford V8's.
The cylinders are 1 to 4 on the pass side, 5 to 8 on the drivers side.

Bosch 0.290.004.500 Distributor Cap has cylinder numbers on top.

Set crank shaft timing mark to TDC = #1 cylinder for Bosch 1.235.522.061 Distributor Cap, you can check Distributor shaft play at the same time.
