Mercedes Benz repair: motor cuts out, mercedes benz 300se, fuel pump relay

Hi,

I have an 89 MB 300SE. The car at times completely shuts down and then will restart after about 2-3 minutes. I have done a complete tune-up all filters, cap, rotor, wires, plugs and fuel accumulator. The fuel pressure test I am told is fine. My tech suggested the fuel pump relay may need to be replaced or the pump itself. What do you think?

Add this to the possible issues list and I agree.
I would suggest replace both relays first = simple DIY.
