How do you bleed a fuel injection pump? What does the points set in a distributor?


Answer
Point gap: .012-.016
Timing: 30 degrees @ 3000
Compression: 142-156 psi
Idle speed in neutral: 700-800
No dwell figures are given for the 230. But for every other 6 cylinder with identical point gap the dwell is listed as 38 degrees.

Suggest you convert to electronic ignition.
