see if you can help . seems like noone in dallas can or wants to
if you can  i  would apreciate  if you could  fax the info to 972-484-9478 gerds imports
trying to set up timing chain from scratch  5.0 l engine  has 2 arrows on each camshaft    Wich ones to use ?  wich way will the first cam lobes point ?   
crankshaft shows ot1  and another mark  ahead ot4
keyway is pointing to pass, side center of  head at ot 1  on top   
a pic of somesort with explanation would  help a lot at this  point    would apreciate your  help  if you can  thanks  gerd   dallas

The reason no one will send you the info is for liability reasons. If your mechanic does not have the specs at hand then he is probably not qualified to work on your vehicle. The best thing to do is order the repair manual from Mercedes. 1-800-for-merc. Then you can have the info you need.
