MG Car Repair: where is the Frame VIN number on a 78 MG midget, mg midget

I am looking for the Frame VIN number on a 78 MG midget. I found the one behind the windsheild and next to the door, but there is suposed to be a 3rd one somwhere...

Hi Cyrille,

I looked through all my books and could not find a 3rd marking. In fact I don't remember more than just two and one was under the hood and the other was on the driver's door jam. As I remember the 78 was a "GAN-6" prefix car. But a Euro car may have been different than our US versions.
