MG Car Repair: Help near by, c spine, fuse box

QUESTION: I read another post where you said you had a wiring diagram for a 79 I would kill for a copy. Also can you explain where you get power to add a extra fuse box for all the extras i want to add or just ease the load

What kind of MG is it? a Midget or a MGB?
If it is a MGB go to Http://mg-tri-jag.net/78-80MGB1x1.jpg for the diagram and change the end to /78-80MGB21x1.jpg for the index.

If it is a Midget change the end to /78onMidget11x1.jpg for the diagram and /78onMidget21x1.jpg for the index.

QUESTION: She's a b and a daily driver i need to update my wiring with a second box and I am stumped by this because I think i've looked everywhere for the way to do this ,also I want to relay my headlights and fans  i saw I could buy them at us parts but they are 300.00 normaly i would do this myself but 5years ago I broke my back and c-spine I have trouble with little movements. I am in eastern and northern N.C. in cause you know someone who could help me

ANSWER: Hi Heather,
A friend just showed me a head light relay system today that he just bought for a "B" and he didn't pay anything like $300. for it. I will contact him to see where he got it and let you know.

As for a relay for the fans, you can put any 4 pin relay from any auto parts store in to operate the fans and take the load off of the thermo-switch. Or do like a lot of owners do and put a relay to operate the fans and operate the relay by a manual switch in the car.

No Heather, I sometimes rescue the complicated. Note that I said "sometimes". Sometimes they don't like my answer and cuss me out.

My friend that just bought one of the relay packages is a pilot and he is out flying so it may be a few days before I hear back about the "B" head light relay set. I will let you know as soon as I hear from him.

8/30/2010- I talked to my friend who got the headlight relay and headlight harness and he got it from Victoria British, part number 10-679 $29.95 It is the relay for each beam and the harness the connects your car harness to both head lights. Victoria British is a reputable company that I have bought from for many years and you can order on line or call their toll free number listed on the net.
