MG Car Repair: High torque Starter motor for MGB, torque starter, specialist operation

TQ sir for the answer. I couldn't get back to you via 'follow-up question'. Anyway, any idea what type of Lucas starter motor I should use and where can I purchase one in UK?
I have just bought a stroboscope but I do not know how to use it yet. Can you help with the basics, please.

I understand that another alternative is to re-curve my distributor. Haw is this done, please.

To re-curve the distributor is a specialist operation, not something you can do yourself.  Ideally, you should book a session on a rolling road, and then get the distributor re-curved.  In the UK, I would recommend that you contact Aldon Automotive.  Follow this link:
