Missing parts
Hi Howard: I just bought a 1970 Mg Midget and I'm restoring it. I'm missing the tachometer and the switch located at the tachometer's left. Do you know what the tachometer part number is and which one is the switch located there? Maybe fog lights? Also, do you know where I can find them? The other question is: is this car (1275 cc) has 3 or 4 gears? Thanks alot for you help!
AnswerHi Santiago, I thought I answered this one once. I don't have any part numbers but you can get the parts form any of several British parts suppliers like Moss Motors, The Roadster Factory and Victoria British to name a few. They have web sites.
The missing switch is a heater fan switch. And all MG Midgets had 4 speed forward gears and reverse boxes.
