MG Car Repair: BALLAST WIRE, ballast resistor, power wires

I want to fit electronic ignition to my 1975 mgb. how do i bypass the ballast wire? is there any wiring diagrams available?

There are two power wires attached to the + terminal of the coil.  They are coloured white with a light green stripe.  They should be disconnected and taped out of the way.  Take your new power supply directly from the White side of fuse number 3.  I would use a plain white wire for this.  

I attach part of the wiring diagram for a 1975 UK specification MGB.  The ballast resistor is the zig-zag wire between the coil (39) and the fusebox (19).
