MG Car Repair: Dashboard, 1968 MGB, words of wisdom, electrical connectors

Hi Howard,

I am contemplating pulling the dashboard off of my car, for a myriad of reasons; electrical, gauge, and heater related.  Might you have any words of wisdom prior to my efforts?  Electrical connectors, etc.?

Hi Dan,
First get a wiring diagram of the car and be sure to disconnect the battery as there are some unfused wires. No small job pulling the dash. If you don't have a diagram, let me know and I will post one on my web site that you can copy.
