Mitsubishi Repair: my blinker switch, mitshubitsi, swith

my blinker switch is broke in half and I was to know if I change the swith on my 2000 mitshubitsi eclipse will the airbags engage? If so how can I disengage the airbags? or can I. Thanks

The airbags function on their own circuit, and should be not associated with any of the wires within the blinker switch. Airbag wires are normally distinguished by yellow connectors and wrapped in yellow tape.  As long as you leave these wires alone, you should be fine.
