Mitsubishi Repair: Mini Pajero 99, mini pajero, shifting gears

Dear One, My car is on auto transmission. & it was not shifting gears properly. I changed oil & filter & it worked smoothly. But the next day when i started the car the wasn't taking gears except reverse. No matter if you put it in D 2 or L its not taking gears. Please advise.

Umair,
You may need a shifter linkage adjustment.  Most any mechanic should be able to make this adjustment.  Else, you may have a problem with an internal component of the transmission.  And for that I would advise you seeking out a transmission specialist from a transmission shop.
