when driving the engine quits like someone turned the key off and will restart after a very short time.  i have replace cap rotor ign switch and the problem remains.

This can be cause by a number of conditions.  You may have bad spark plugs or ignition coil.  Even a poor ground from the battery cable can cause this.  I would recommend having your local mechanic inspect the ignition system and the starter motor.
