heavy vibrations are felt while accelerating from a stopped position, causes for this?

This can be caused by a lot of things. Bad ignition component, poor air or fuel supply, improper timing, bad wheel balance, broken engine mount, or even a malfunctioning transmission are just a few things that can cause this problem.  The best would be to have our mechanic inspect your car and they should be able to find the problem.
