Mitsubishi Repair: Replaced battery, fuses, eclipse
QuestionI have a 2000 Eclipse and just replaced the battery. I hook up the positive first and when I connect the negative there is a slight clicking sound near the fuses and battery but the car will not start. I replaed the battery a few years ago and did not have this problem. Any idea in what is happening and how to correct? Thanks
AnswerGordon: I would check to see if you might have had a weak relay and when you hooked up the new battery it blew the relay. Remember now if you find a relay that is bad, you must unhook the neg cable replace the relay with the new relay and rehook the neg cable back up on the battery. God bless: Linda
