Mitsubishi Repair: smell gas through vents inside, fuel pressure regulator, eclipse spyder

i was wondering why i can smell gas through my vents even when the a/c or heater isnt on. its a 96 eclipse spyder gs manual

You may have a small fuel leak at your engine bay.  Have a mechanic check your fuel line coming into your fuel filter and where it exits near the fuel pressure regulator.  A small tear in a fuel hose or bad o-ring near at an injector can cause fuel to leak.  It doesn't take much fuel to make a big smell.  But have this checked ASAP.
