Mitsubishi Repair: 92 Mitsubishi Might Max, balance shaft, timing belt

While changing the water pump, removed the timing belt, no problem until I noticed the balance belt was corroded and just fell apart...now unable to get the balance belt back on...any suggestions?

If you have trouble getting the balance belt back on, you'll most likely need to loosen or remove the tensioner in order to get it around the crank and balance shaft sprockets.  Then install the tensioner back on to spec tolerances.
