Mitsubishi Repair: spark plug placement, mitsubishi lancer, oil cap

hey there, I have 2002 mitsubishi lancer and this may be a stupid question but do you know where my spark plugs are located and do I have a distributor in my car because I can't seem to find any of them??

Your car has 2 coils, each one controls 2 spark plugs; no distributor.  You can see the spark plug boots along the top of the valve cover.  You can see one very easily just behind the oil cap.  All 4 spark plugs are in line.  If you pull up the boot, the spark plug can be easily accessed with a spark plug socket and a ratchet extension.
